Poverty also widens the gap between the rich and the poor, creating resentment and conflict within communities. In many cases, unemployed or underprivileged youth become vulnerable to being influenced by violent groups or extremist ideologies. Thus, poverty acts as a root cause that pushes individuals and societies toward violence in different forms.
