जैविक खेती एक ऐसी खेती की पद्धति है जिसमें रासायनिक उर्वरक, कीटनाशक और कृत्रिम रसायनों का उपयोग नहीं किया जाता। इसके स्थान पर प्राकृतिक तरीकों, जैविक साधनों और पर्यावरण–अनुकूल तकनीकों का प्रयोग किया जाता है। जैविक खेती का मुख्य उद्देश्य मिट्टी की उर्वरता बनाए रखना, पर्यावरण की रक्षा करना और लोगों को शुद्ध व पौष्टिक भोजन उपलब्ध कराना है।

जैविक खेती की कुछ मुख्य विशेषताएँ:

कम्पोस्ट और गोबर की खाद जैसे प्राकृतिक उर्वरकों का प्रयोग।
